Faceted Square Freestanding Ceramic Pedestal Basin

Description

Overview

The B-136B is a faceted Square Freestanding Ceramic Pedestal Basin from the Yingjie Pedestal Basins range. It is built as a single floor-standing ceramic column with an integrated top basin. Bowl and column are cast together, so the basin is stable, self-supporting and ready for a waste connection hidden inside the base. It is supplied for family bathrooms, hotel guest rooms, serviced apartments and commercial washrooms where a self-contained basin is preferred over a fitted vanity unit.

Design & Aesthetics

The B-136B adds subtle facets to a square column, so the surface catches light and gives the pedestal a sculptural, pleated quality. The square outline keeps the piece sculptural and faceted, and the glossy white glaze gives it a bright, hygienic look that sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary interiors. Because the form is closed and continuous, the basin reads as one sculpted object rather than a separate bowl resting on a stand, which is the look specifiers want from a freestanding pedestal sink.

Ceramic Durability & Glaze

The body is cast in vitreous china and high-fired before the sanitary glaze is applied. The finished glaze is smooth and non-porous, so it resists staining, odour and everyday bathroom cleaners while staying easy to wipe down in heavy-use settings. A consistent glaze formulation keeps colour and sheen matched across repeat orders. The body is fired to give a floor-standing, load-bearing basin the strength it needs.

Technical Specifications

• Model: B-136B
• Material: glazed ceramic (vitreous china)
• Form: faceted square column with an integrated bowl
• Finish: glossy white sanitary glaze
• Installation: floor-mounted, freestanding
• Faucet drilling: standard single-hole basin mixer position
• Waste: standard basin waste outlet

Installation & Space Compatibility

Installation is straightforward. The column is set on the floor and fixed at the base, and the waste runs down through the hollow pedestal. The bowl takes a standard basin mixer at the single-hole position and drains through a standard basin waste outlet, so plumbers work with familiar fittings and no special parts. Its compact square base fits neatly against a wall or into a corner, while the faceted column adds interest without bulk.
