Handcrafted Round Textured Ceramic Art Basin

Description

Product Overview

The 9167-H-109 is a round handcrafted ceramic art basin with an even 390 x 390 mm footprint and a 155 mm bowl depth. It is supplied as a countertop vessel basin, sitting fully above the worktop so it can be fitted to an existing vanity without any joinery modification. The generous round opening gives a comfortable washing area for a family bathroom or a hospitality washroom, and the compact height keeps sightlines open in a smaller room.

Handcrafted Art & Aesthetics

What separates this piece from a plain round basin is its surface. The wall is worked by hand into a fine texture that catches light and reads differently from every angle, while the rim keeps the soft, slightly uneven line of a hand-built form. The glaze pools gently in the texture so the colour deepens in the recesses. The result is a tactile handcrafted art basin that behaves like a small sculpture on the vanity rather than a flat, uniform moulding.

Ceramic Material & Durability

High-temperature vitrified ceramic gives the basin a dense, non-porous body with very low water absorption, so it resists staining, limescale build-up and the daily knocks of bathroom use. The hand-applied glaze is fired onto the body and remains stable under warm water, soap and standard cleaning products. The textured surface is sealed by the glaze, which means it stays hygienic and easy to wipe even though it looks deliberately rustic.

Countertop Vanity Compatibility

A 390 mm diameter suits most single-basin vanity tops from 500 mm wide upwards and leaves useful deck space on either side for soap and a towel. The basin accepts a tall single-lever mixer, a wall-mounted spout or a deck-mounted pair of taps, and the 155 mm height sits well under a vanity mirror. It is equally at home on a stone worktop, a solid timber bench or a cast terrazzo top.
